WASHINGTON DC EMBASSY TOUR

We begin this special day with an Insider’s look into the fascinating private World of Embassy Row open to us only once a year. Nowhere else but here do you have a chance to explore so many cultures as you tour 4 embassies and 4 elegant private homes. Each embassy is a stunning showcase of the best of its country’s architecture, culture and national traditions. ..the grandiose spaces are full of precious works of art from every corner of the planet.

 Then, we’re off to a explore our own heritage at the Woodrow Wilson House, the only presidential museum in Washington. It is home to many exquisite treasures...a historically significant collection of over 8,000 objects including pieces from the White House, family items, memorabilia and elaborate gifts of state from around the world. It’s also a living textbook of  American life in the l920’s—from sound recordings to silent films, from flapper dresses to zinc sinks. We depart at 10:45  a.m. and will be serving brunch on board. Returning at 6:15 p.m. we serve drinks & snacks.
